D. Covert surveillance and inception of communication

The police may intercept anyone’s communication or perform covert surveillance under the authorisation of a panel judge or other executive authorisation (Sections 4, 5, 8 and 20 of Cap. 589 of the Interception of Communications and Surveillance Ordinance).
