Identification parade
The presence of an appropriate adult is also required during an identification parade involving a suspect who is mentally incapacitated. The officer-in-charge of the identification parade should inform the appropriate adult of their role (see further sub-section 1 above), and that when the actual identification is taking place, they may only attend the parade without participation in its process.
