B. Expert evidence 

Expert evidence is used where the court needs assistance on matters requiring specialised knowledge, skill or experience. The main rules governing expert evidence are found in Part V of the Evidence Ordinance (Cap. 8) and Order 38, Part IV of the Rules of the High Court (Cap. 4A) (“RHC”) or the Rules of the District Court (Cap. 336H) (“RDC”).
