A. Road traffic accidents

For road traffic accidents, claims could be made against the driver and / or the vehicle owner.  Usually these claims are passed on to the vehicle's insurer, who will investigate the claim and settle it if appropriate. You may obtain the particulars of the insurer concerned from the Police in most cases. All accidents in which bodily injuries occur must be reported to the Police, and all owners of motor vehicles are required by law to be insured against claims for bodily injury.

Injuries resulting from road traffic accidents can range from whiplash and broken bones all the way up to paralysis, brain damage and even death.
