B. Defacing rocks and roadcuttings

Under section 4(19) of the Summary Offences Ordinance (Cap. 228), a person commits an offence if, without lawful authority or excuse, he defaces any rock or roadcutting in or near a public place by carving or otherwise marking any letter, character, figure or device on it. The penalty is a fine of $2,000 and imprisonment for 3 months.
