B. Slaughtering and feeding animals
Under section 4(10) of the Summary Offences Ordinance (Cap. 228), a person commits an offence if, without lawful authority or excuse, he kills, slaughters, exposes for show or sale (except in a market lawfully appointed for that purpose), feeds or fodders any horse or other animal in a public place in a manner that causes annoyance to inhabitants or passers-by. The offence is punishable by a fine of $2,000 and imprisonment for 3 months.
