A. Labour induction

Labour induction refers to the process or treatment creating contractions in the uterus before labour to artificially stimulate childbirth and delivery. Labour induction could be recommended for delivery of the baby in necessary circumstance by the responsible medical practitioners. However, labour induction is also a method used to end a pregnancy in the second or third trimester by inducing the labour and delivery of the foetus. Induction abortion has the same legal requirement to be legal just like any other type of methods used for abortion.
