16. Can a judgment (Court/Tribunal's decision) be reviewed?

Yes. Either party can apply to the Labour Tribunal for a review of the judgment within seven days from its date of issuance.

 

The Presiding Officer may also review the judgment on his/her own motion within 14 days from its date of issuance.

 

The claim or the hearing may be re-opened, or re-heard in whole or in part, and the previous award or order may be confirmed, varied or reversed.

 

A party who applies for review will need to complete an Application for Review form and to pay a prescribed fee.
